About

The Texas Center for Public Policy Research is an independent, non-profit organization whose goal is to promote pro-growth, fiscally conservative approaches to public policy and protect economic freedom and fair market competition free of government burdens.

Our unique strategy to for achieving these objectives include:

Polling and Analysis:   The TxCPPR conducts public opinion survey research to gauge the attitudes of Texans on various issues or specific legislative proposals.  Armed with the survey information, our staff will summarize and disseminate our findings to key legislative, academic, civic and business leaders, as well the media and general public.

Action in Public Policy:   The TxCPPR produces opinion editorials, press releases, talking points and other informational pieces for legislative dissemination focused on survey findings and key conservative economic issues, such as fair taxation, sensible spending, reasonable regulation, practical environmentalism, opportunity education, and affordable healthcare.

Public Relations Assistance: The TxCPPR provides specialized media and other public relations training to key legislative, academic, civic and business leaders to more effectively promote their views to the public or the public policy process.

Through this targeted strategy, we believe we can promote the development of sound public policy and a group of conservative leaders who have the support to fight for sound conservative policies for Texas.
